Our Way Off Autopilot: Cross Balancing Tao for a Mindful Self and World
March 1st, 2009: You are Lightbourn 1: The Victim The first in a series of monthly meditations on freeing oneself from being caught On Autopilot. This meditation - using a wrestling ring setting - assists you to recognize how you - how all of us - can be 'overly accepting', how we can feel like victims, become and/or remain depressed... As this Following Rules. Serving Others sector of Autopilot, we're bossed around by the Pushy parts of ourselves or of others. We cannot imagine Being/Expressing an integrative self (!) so we fear the Other Side of self in this way: the nasty - Pushing - 'narcissistic' (full of oneself) ;>) That counterpoint Pushing Powerfulness (Self Serving / Setting Rules) part of us is the subject of our next mediative journey :>)
April 1st, 2009 - You are Lightbourn 2: Powerfulness This is the second meditation for helping yourself loosen the hold of being caught On Autopilot. This month's journey uses a life in the navy metaphor to help you take a new look at what it means to Lead Energetically, to be the Leading element in any human system - including with yourself. Here we find it hard to accept, to be more accommodating. We want to be In Charge. This is a half hour fantasy journey that will take you up in flight to a transcendent new place of both Love and Power.

May 1st, 2009 - You are Lightbourn 3: The Source of All Conflict
May 1st, 2009 - You are Lightbourn 3: The Source of All Conflict This is the third meditation for further realizing how we are each caught enacting the robotic patterns of the Autopilot. This month's 12 minute voyage is far more simple. It takes you to viewing a typical conflict process and how it arises. First, caring arrives in a situation. It is a seemingly innocent wanting, a desire to resolve something. Unless we are mindful that same searching for bridging ends as further division until we are able to detach - as Buddhism has always said. The point is we need them both: the attachment of caring and the detachment of a broader perspective...
June 1st, 2009 - You are Lightbourn 4: Channeling Anger
June 1st, 2009 - You are Lightbourn 4: Channeling Anger The fourth meditation in this series is a journey to challenge your Autopilot anger process in a pretty far out way! It allows you to explore some alternate means to regard what you can do with your seemingly destructive anger. This month's meditation runs for about 15 minutes and will give you a chance to get quite an alternate view of what annoys you.
